
Who We Are
We started out as McCauley Edwards back in 1983, with a few brave blends, a couple of mixers (thanks to Trevor Wicklow at Scobie & Junor), and a strong idea: make seasoning that actually works.Since then, we've grown into Foodmaker Ingredients — still blending with purpose, still obsessed with flavour, and still just as curious as we were on day one.
And yes, we got our start with a bit of help from the folks at Scobie & Junor — a family business that's been around since 1919, sourcing herbs and spices from all over the world and helping the industry do flavour properly.
We started small — just a few blends, a few brave ideas, and the belief that seasoning should actually do something. Not just taste nice, but works hard too.
Fast forward to today, and we’re still mixing, still learning, still making seasoning that actually earns its keep.

A Tiny Bit of Bragging
We were the first ever seasoning manufacturer to bag BS5750 Part II certification.And yes, we got it on the first go. Not that we’re bragging. (Alright, maybe just a bit.)
